News and Coming Events

Teens Group

Teens Group has been postponed until tonight.   It will meet at the manse at 7:30pm.   The slightly later start is due to the joint service that evening, but hopefully with it not being a “school night” we’ll be able to run a little later to compensate.

Discipleship Explored

DE will be on a break for another two weeks.   This Tuesday we have house guests at the manse; and next week Gordon & Dolina plan on being away.

Easter Activity Club

The annual Easter Club will be held Thursday 1st April, 2pm – 4pm at the Sleat Church.   No need to book, just turn up.   This club will be organised by Susan Maclean.

We are looking for 2 people to volunteer to help Susan run the club.

Joint Service Next Lord’s Day

The joint service tonight will be led by Iain Alasdair Macdonald, S.A.S.R.A. area rep for Scotland.   Iain was previously involved with LDOS / Day One Ministries, and will have a limited Day One Publications bookstall for anyone interested.

SASRA is The Soldiers’ and Airmen’s Scripture Readers Association.   Their Ministry is one of personal evangelism. Uniquely they are permitted, subject to Chaplain’s recommendation and Commanding Officers’ permission to visit soldiers and airmen in their accommodation, work and recreation areas. This is done with a view to befriending them and introducing them to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Family Service

As usual, the service next Sunday will be a Family Service.   This will continue, in spite of the school holidays.   We hope this regular service will help parents bring their kids to church, and teach them that church / Sunday School is not a “term time” only thing you can take a holiday from.   So, hopefully see you all there.
